About Me
My passion for editing began during my freshman year of high school. While I have explored and appreciated many forms of artistic expression, editing has consistently remained my primary creative focus. What started as a hobby—filming and editing monthly montage videos—quickly evolved into a deeper interest in storytelling and a desire to develop technical proficiency in advanced editing platforms.
After taking a digital media course where I was introduced to Final Cut Pro, I chose to further my education at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). There, I expanded my expertise across industry-standard software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects, while also developing a strong foundation in color grading. Throughout my time at SCAD, I collaborated closely with directors to shape and refine their narratives in post-production, translating their creative vision into compelling final cuts.
In addition to editing, I gained comprehensive on-set experience by working in various production roles and directing my own projects. This well-rounded understanding of the filmmaking process has strengthened my ability to approach post-production with both technical precision and narrative sensitivity.
I graduated in May 2025 with extensive hands-on experience, including a summer internship during which I collaborated on the production of more than 40 minutes of promotional video content. I continue to pursue creative projects independently, producing montage videos, vlogs, and other original work whenever possible. Two short films I edited as part of senior thesis collaborations are currently being screened at film festivals across the country.
